Tables

 Unit 5 Activity 3

            In this post, we will go over some basic tags used in HTML codes to build tables on webpages. 

   Table Tags:

• <table> -  identifies a table is beginning
• <tr> -  identifies the start of a table row
• <td> -  contains table data
• <table width="800" border="2"> or <table width="100%" border="2"> - controls the width of the table
• <table height="250" width="800" border="2"> - controls the height of the table

            These tags are only a few of the many tags that are used to add more features and characteristics to tables, such as adding colours and headings. 

       My Reflection:

    

                 I think its cool that one can use codes to create a table on their webpage. This allows for better ways to organize and relate information, instead of simply writing paragraphs.
